Recruitment and Personnel Specialist and the
Personnel Support Coordinator is to coordinate personnel recruitment and classifications functions for the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM) faculty, staff and temporary/hourly employees. You will also be tasked with supporting administrative functions of the personnel processes. Both positions call for acute attention to detail, ability to take constructive feedback, and demonstrated proficiency in multiple systems. Position DetailsRecruitment and Personnel SpecialistSummary of Duties:The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate personnel recruitment and classifications functions for the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM) faculty, staff and temporary/hourly employees. Your role includes but is not limited to: supporting all aspects of recruitment efforts throughout the College, supporting department leaders in development of position descriptions and seeking approvals for positions, support ongoing employee changes such as reclassifications, ADRs, appointment extensions, problem solving and advising employees/managers within defined scope of work.

Personnel Support Coordinator Summary of Duties:The primary responsibility of this position is to support the administrative functions of the personnel processes for all ESFCOM faculty, staff and temporary/hourly employees. This includes HR Partner Workday functions, supporting recruitment actions, reviews and evaluations and maintaining College personnel documentation.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:Recruitment and Personnel Specialist:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education/experience.
Additional Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or other related discipline. Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
- Demonstrated experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently and/or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:- Demonstrated ability to be productive, deliver high quality work, take initiative, and use good judgement.
- Experience utilizing Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft, Ulti-Pro or other HCM system.
- Ability to synthesize business issues into technical solutions and clearly document business needs and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of academic personnel policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in a higher education setting, knowledge of Higher Education academic & personnel processes are highly desirable.
Personnel Support Coordinator:Required Qualifications:High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Additional Requirements:- Specialty: Two years demonstrated experience in personnel related administrative functions.
- Demonstrated experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with records or data management systems such as learning management systems, electronic health record systems, human capital management systems, customer relationship management systems, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:- Demonstrated ability to be productive, deliver high quality work, take initiative, use good judgement, and problem solve.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a higher education setting, knowledge of Higher Education academic & personnel processes are highly desirable.
