Job Description As an Employee Relations Lead within the Reasonable Accommodations team of CVS Health Advice & Counsel, you will be responsible for the execution and ownership of exciting and innovative projects including coordination and implementation of enterprise accommodations initiatives as well as changes to align with the evolving legal landscape of accommodations within CVS processes, under the ADA and/or state requirements. You will also have the opportunity to facilitate change while managing investigations related to Reasonable Accommodations, managing changes with Reasonable Accommodations case types, coordinating and facilitating training for CVS lines of business to help guide and assist members of leadership to better understand the RA processes. You will be a champion of our CVS culture and called upon to promote a positive employee relations climate.
Additional responsibilities may include: â¢ Responsible for a wide range of activities related to reasonable accommodations including but not limited to, providing advice, counsel and support for interpretation, application and compliance of the ADA, applicable State, Federal laws and company policies. â¢ Responsible for leading and engaging in the interactive process with colleagues, applicants, leaders, and Human Resources when a colleague or applicant requests a workplace accommodation to perform the essential functions or to enjoy the benefits and privileges of employment due to a disability, pregnancy/pregnancy related condition, or sincerely held religious belief. â¢ Recommend solutions and influence leaders to consider the accommodation request with an open mind to continue meeting business needs. The Reasonable Accommodation Partner manages all assigned cases to closure, handling each case on its unique facts and circumstances. â¢ Provides insights, observations and support for reporting and metrics with Reasonable Accommodations cases. Identify trends, observations and shares with business leaders, Human Resources, Legal and other relevant clients. â¢ Engages as a solid partner with Legal on resolving complex Reasonable Accommodation requests. â¢ Engages as a subject matter expert on reasonable accommodations with casework handled by other Advice & Counsel colleagues and the Leave of Absence team. â¢ Provide input for process improvement in team efficiency, effectiveness and process â“ improving the overall client experience â“ including identifying education /training opportunities for leaders, employees and Human Resources.
Required Qualifications - 5+ years' of Reasonable Accommodations (RA) or Leave of Absence (LOA) experience AND/OR Employee Relations (ER) OR HRBP experience with general knowledge with RA and ADA -3+ years' experience managing and responding to complaints of misconduct including harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation related issues -3+ years' experience documenting cases with the use of a case management system

Education - High School Diploma/GED required. - Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
