Abbott Rapid diagnostics' Infectious Disease goal is to lead in market development and adoption of point of care diagnostics (POC) in our core markets of Infectious Diseases. The move from laboratory-based tests and the associated material and information flows to diagnostics delivered at the point of care requires deep change for many customers.
At the moment we are looking for an experienced sales person with a strong business acumen and goal orientation to join our team in Czechia as a Sales Specialist. The position will cover the eastern part of Czechia (Moravia) and Slovakia
Key responsibilities:
Lead the market development activities across the region
Achieve targets of double digit growth or double market growth rate and a profit margin of >60%
Manage the distributors and develop the sales channels
Encourage new ideas within a framework of business planning and territory management
Recruit, negotiate and manage distributor relationships as allocated
Build up the effective cooperation with the KOLs, HC officials
Provide regular timely forecasts of performance, product demand, expenditure etc.
Serve as part of the leadership and management team in helping to determine the strategy, setting targets, budgeting and working collaboratively with other functions
Maintain and communicate on a regular basis a view of the strategic landscape within your Region to Commercial Director and Marketing Teams within Abbott Rdx.
Requirements:
At least 5 years' industry experience with ideally 3-5 years of sales leadership experience
University degree in Business, Biological Science or related field
Proficient in dealing with both primary and secondary customers at all levels
Fluent in building / constructing compelling business cases
Good knowledge of managing numerous stakeholders in sales cycles that exceeds 9 months
Working knowledge and experience in medical equipment leasing and managed services
Skilled and experienced negotiator
Positive attitude, team player with a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm
Effective communicator, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others
Excellent organization, facilitator and presentation skills
Fluent in English
Readiness to work in a field (approx.. 80% of time)
