Registration and Project Specialist for CAS (College of Arts and Sciences)

Oversee primary registration and scheduling services to incoming College of Arts and Sciences students. Collaborate and execute projects related to student data, yearly scheduling processes, and maintain compliance with high school dual enrollment programs.
Monitors, identifies needs, and provides consultation to deans and department chairs regarding registration services for incoming students. Oversees processing incoming student registrations with academic and CAS (College of Arts and Sciences) Registrar Team.
Directs phone calls, emails, and walk-in visitors to the appropriate staff member. Troubleshoots escalating registration issues. Sorts incoming/outgoing mail for the office suite.
Oversee Production of the class schedule and resolves room assignments for CAS. Provides information regarding classroom needs and use to the Registrar for various university committees.
Produces PSEO and Concurrent Enrolment state reports. Manages College in the Schools (CIS) Registration. Updates program personnel regarding PSEO and CIS programs and policies, and implements associated procedures.
Adjusts student academic records at all stages of the student lifecycle until gradutaion.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with relational databases preferred.

Ability to interact effectively with faculty, students, administrators and staff are required.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to learn logical constructs and programming related syntax.
Ability to critically assess and evaluate individual requests, use appropriate independent judgement, and accurately and consistently apply policy and process.
Proven self-starter and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to handle sensitive, confidential information in a mature, professional matter. Familiarity with FERPA preferred.
Understanding of liberal arts education is preferred.
1+ years of experience required; experience in a registrar's office or similar academic administrative situation preferred.
Bachelor's degree required.
Remote hybrid work is allowed, must be able to come to the office for staffing coverage on a consistent and regular basis.
