The National Account Project Manager is responsible for all activities related to business development and revenue growth for our national account structure. Revenue generation will come primarily through the growth of national and strategic accounts and the targeting/onboarding of new partners. The NAPM will be responsible for recruiting and training the national account team. The NAPM will work with executive management and divisional leaders to provide materials only and turnkey solutions for Division 8, Division 10 and Division 28 in the commercial construction industry. This position requires a high level of industry and national account knowledge. It is essential that the NAPM is creative and resourceful in prospecting potential general contractors to meet business objectives.

Achieve annual revenue and profitability budgets and assigned strategic account objectives; represent the entire range of company products and services to increase sales revenue and market share. Substantial prospecting for new opportunities both within the existing client base and prospective targets is essential. This includes identifying target potential through its market focus, backlog and project needs. This due diligence will lead to expanding current and new relationships whereby the client considers us their valued partner and trusted source for commercial door & hardware and access control turnkey solutions.
Develop a team of customer centric project managers, estimators and detailers to delivery a “Best in Class” level of service to our customers. Insure timeliness of estimate and logistical deadlines. Work in partnership with key vendors to develop our target markets. Review and execute project contracts.
Proven experience in creating strategic client relationship. Experience in working with key decision makers and industry influencers resulting in successful account wallet share growth.
Ability to coordinate on-site or remote training for existing estimating, project management and production staff
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Ability to effectively train a variety of personality types and skill sets
Excellent computers skills
Must have excellent time management skills
Ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, Outlook experience is essential
Strong and proven prospecting abilities

Ability to Identify what needs to be done and carry out established processes
