Position Summary:
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Associate Athletics Director. Primary duties for this position include the following: Direct and oversee the operations of all Athletics Facilities and all Athletics Grounds. Oversee all event management to include game day operations for all sports. Oversee the scheduling of all Athletic Facilities for all sports programs and other events. Develop annual budget for facility operations, maintenance and repairs. Develop a cohesive team within facilities and event management operations. Directs, supervises Event Services Staff, to include Ushers, Ticket Takers, Security Personnel, EMT's, and outside contractors/3rd party vendors. Track progress and completion of work-orders submitted for maintenance and repairs. Perform regular inspections of venues and facilities to determine the need for maintenance and repairs. Recommend and participate in capital projects including new construction, short and long range repairs and improvements. Provide daily direction and guidance for operations facilities personnel Responsible for annually evaluating the work performance of reports and making recommendations regarding assignments as required Oversee Athletics Concessions operations. Responding to client requests, recruitment and management of external events, i.e. conferences/concerts/shows Comply with all applicable NCAA, C-USA, and University policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $81,525 - $93,000
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
