The Construction Services Department is in need of additional skilled staff members to assist with the completion of new, current and future construction projects taking place at Saint Louis University.
â‹Job Duties
Provide minor demolition, general interior construction, renovation and alteration of specs.
Perform the following services included, but not limited to: blueprint reading, planning and layout, demolition, rough and finish carpentry, framing and drywall, mud, tape and paint, ceiling reconfiguration, doors and hardware, new flooring and repairs, and toilet and bath accessories.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in the field Strong customer service skills
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
Ability to work effectively with others
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with students, faculty, and staff Must be able to work in awkward positions and exert considerable effort in moving and adjusting building equipment
Must be able to walk extensively
Must be able to work in cold and hot environments as well as poorly lit areas
Minimum Qualifications
Trade school with two-three (2-3) years experience in field.
Class E drivers license

$26.60 per hour
