Boston University Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our boys' soccer program as an Assistant Coach. As the Assistant Coach, you will work closely with the Head Coach to support all aspects of the team's development, including practices, games, and player growth.
Support the planning and execution of regular practice sessions to enhance players' technical abilities, teamwork, and understanding of the game.
Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop effective game strategies and ensure their implementation during matches.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players to aid in their individual skill development.
Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
Assist in coordinating with other coaches and staff members to ensure effective communication and coordination within the boys' soccer program and the overall athletic department.
The boys' soccer season will run from August 28th to November 3rd.
The expected weekly commitment for the Assistant Boys Soccer Coach is approximately 10-12 hours.
Practices are held from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.

Prior experience as a soccer coach or player preferred.
Solid understanding of soccer strategies, techniques, and rules.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school administrators.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate practices and games.
Current CPR certification preferred.
