Ridgeview Country Club is seeking a head golf course superintendent.
The golf course superintendent is responsible for:
Supervising and assisting in the maintenance of the course.
Supervising and assisting in the maintenance and repair of construction and maintenance.
Participating in all long-range planning meetings.
Determining playability of the course
Determining whether to allow carts on the course
The golf course superintendent assumes responsibility for managing and maintaining club properties which includes the following:
The golf course
Clubhouse grounds and landscaping
Opening gates for trash removal year round
Cleaning driving range
Opening gates and cart shed from April 1 through October 31
Other properties as specified in writing by the Board
In addition, the golf course superintendent assumes the following responsibilities:
Any new construction, reconstruction, and/or renovation approved by the Board.
Cart sheds will be kept clean and maintained on a regular basis and Rental carts will be filled with gasoline as needed.
Hires, fires, trains, directs, and supervises a staff of employees for the purpose of maintaining the properties. All job applications will be reviewed by Board appointed committee prior to hiring decisions.
Scheduling and routing of personnel and equipment to accomplish the work. Personnel are not responsible for making their own schedule.
Submitting a yearly budget for Board approval and purchases necessary supplies to maintain the golf course.
Maintaining accurate and complete records on inventory, maintenance procedures, and pesticide applications.
Reviewing and submitting all grounds employee time cards to business manager on payday.
Reviewing and submitting all grounds and maintenance bills to the business manager prior to due dates.
Superintendent will attend all board meetings and follow recommendations and directives of the board.
