Stop! Before you decide to apply for this job, I want you to ask yourself a few questions. And I want you to really think about your answers, because your honest responses to these questions will help you determine if Dealers Wholesale is right for you.
Do you take ownership of your responsibilities and commitments, both to yourself and to others? Or do you pass the buck, point fingers, and make excuses?
Do you go out of your way to collaborate with others and be of service to others? Or do you work in silos, and choose to serve your own agenda before the larger team?
Do you proactively take the initiative to solve problems that arise? Or are you content to point out the problem and wait for someone else to solve it?
Do you drive toward excellence in everything you do, and work to be better every day than the day before? Or do you settle for mediocrity rather than continually improving?
At Dealers Wholesale, Character and Core Values come first. We can teach you how to be a great Project Manager in our Commercial Multi-Family Division, but we cannot teach you how to be a Right Person for our Culture.
If it sounds like our standards are high, it’s because they are! If you are attracted to being a part of an elite team that strives for excellence every single day, then I invite you to hit the Apply button. If you are unwilling to be held accountable to these standards, then I invite you to keep looking – the right job is out there for you!

Dealers Wholesale represents some of the finest manufacturers known in the construction industry. The company specializes in the manufacture, fabrication, distribution and installation of quality building products. In 1982, Dealers decided to expand its product offering by distributing and installing commercial doors, frames and hardware. The move to selling both residential and commercial building products has helped Dealers improve its overall sales performance even when one of the sectors of the building industry is experiencing slow times.
The major product lines distributed by Dealers Wholesale includes IR (Ingersoll-Rand) Security and Safety, Marshfield Doors, Steelcraft Doors and Frames, Perma Door and Plastpro Doors, Yale Hardware and fireplaces by Heat & Glo, Heatilator and Quadra-Fire. In addition to the above Dealers sells and installs window treatments by Hunter Douglas and Levo...lor and has recently added bath hardware, toilet partitions and fire extinguishers to its product offering for commercial builders.
The product Dealers Wholesale offers is only part of the equation. Our staff of dedicated professionals has done work for high rise office buildings, shopping malls, state correctional facilities, churches, schools, housing projects, etc. We have a complete service and installation department that services and installs all our products with our own full time employees.
Dealers Wholesale unveiled exciting news in January 2008 when the company purchased the Metro Indianapolis division of Fireside Hearth & Home. Fireside Hearth & Home is part of Hearth & Home Technologies, a division of HNI Corporation, is considered to be the leader in the hearth industry.
In 2016, Dealers Wholesale was acquired by a Private Equity Firm called The Firefly Group. Under their leadership, Dealers Wholesale has implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and made very strategic changes to our Core Values, Mission, and short/long-term growth goals.
Jimmy Rayford, the CEO of Dealers Wholesale, took the helm in January 2020, and was quickly able to inspire trust and loyalty from the organization. Jimmy's transparent leadership style and emphasis on a people-first culture has had tremendous positive impact on the organization in a very short period of time. He continues to elevate the Talent and the Employee Experience, and is working to fulfill our Vision of being a game-changing force in the Construction industry.
In early 2022, Dealers Wholesale acquired ClearPath Connections - a Milwaukee-based access control and security organization.
