The Agency of Transportation is seeking a State Airport Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for assisting the State Airport Manager with enforcing and interpreting laws, rules and regulations for the operation of airports and aircraft, and inspecting State-owned airports. The Specialist coordinates airport functions, including program development, site selection, construction, and facilities maintenance, air navigational aids and systems, communication systems, and weather observing systems. This position works closely with Agency staff to provide input regarding airport development, design, and construction activities.
