The starting salary range for this position is $145,000 - $180,000 with an attractive benefits package.

The Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority is seeking a Deputy Executive Director who will serve as the primary assistant to the Executive Director and will be responsible for Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) and three (3) general aviation airports. This position assists the Executive Director with business administration, planning, construction, operations, maintenance, marketing, air service development and public relations. The Deputy Executive Director assumes the role of the Executive Director in their absence. The Deputy Executive Director supervises airport planning, land use acquisition and development, and noise and environmental regulations compliance. 4-year degree in Airport or Aviation Management or related field. 7-10 years progressively responsible experience in Airport Management, including 5 years supervisory or administrative experience.

Accreditation by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as an Airport Executive (A.A.E.) and/or accreditation by ACI-NA as USAP.
A valid PA driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as other web-based computer applications.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, charts and graphs, policy and procedure manuals or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, shift personnel, clients, customers, and the general public.
