BARC Electric, a member-owned electric cooperative with headquarters in Millboro, Virginia, seeks a qualified applicant to fill the position of Groundworker.Major duties and responsibilities include:• Assists in the construction and maintenance of electric and fiber plant, including:o Pulling cableo Digging trencheso Mounting NIDso Starting U-Guards• Anticipates lineman’s needs and supplies him/her with the materials and tools requested• Assists in surveying and splicing as required• Cares for tools and equipment• May be asked to operate a plow and other equipment periodically.• Assists in emergency maintenance as required• Performs other duties appropriate to a Groundworker position• Participates in the on-ca
