South Central Power Company, has an immediate opening for a Field Engineer II at our Lancaster, Ohio location.  This position is responsible for investigating, surveying, and staking electric distribution lines in accordance with construction specifications. Additionally, the incumbent will prepare staking sheets, process and submit proposals for joint use and represent the cooperative to members and others while in the field.  Responsibilities include coordinating joint use construction projects with other utilities, surveying and acquiring right-of-ways and easements, designing overhead and underground distribution lines for commercial services, residential subdivisions, feeders from substations, and bridge or roadway projects.
