Are you looking for a new opportunity in your career and have experience working on renovation projects? AMLI is expanding it's renovations efforts and has a new position in Atlanta for a Renovations Superintendent. The initial project will oversee the renovations of AMLI Old 4th Ward.
As the Renovations Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and punch-out staff assigned to the projects. Duties Include:
Direct all activities of punch-out staff and laborers hired for the completion of the project.
Complete a review of all construction plans and contract scopes associated with the assigned project.
Ensure Subcontractors are completing their work following plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Attend and lead weekly subcontractor communication and safety meetings at the job site.
Prepare and submit any "Violation of Compliance Standard" safety forms to the Director of Renovations for filing and submittal to the Regional Office.
Assist and complete the Daily Report form for submission to the Regional Office.
Communicate to the Director of Renovations the appropriate information required to maintain the job schedule updated weekly.
Review and process with the Director of Renovations all subcontractor/vendor payment requests and payments per the processes and timeframes outlined by accounting.
Coordinate material deliveries and distribution on-site and in buildings.
Ensure that building completions, including the building interior and exterior punch list inspections, are performed according to schedule. Ensure all punch work is completed on time.
Assist in the coordination of renovation efforts with the Property Manager and Service Manager to provide a desirable leasing experience for prospective AMLI residents
Requirements: Candidates should have a High school diploma or GED and a minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in construction/renovation management or property management. Computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and other business-related software desired. Ability to maintain schedules, manage conflict and drive business results by managing the performance of job site workers-experience in managing a diverse workforce, including Subcontractors, Vendors, and Employees.
The employee frequently is required to walk and climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds or more and, on rare occasions, move more than 75 pounds.
20% travel. Reliable transportation is required.
