Job Overview
As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for making sure the projects you’re managing stay on track, meet deadlines, technical requirements, and performance goals. You'll be the key point of contact for sharing project information between the team and clients, ensuring both sides have everything they need to be successful. Your role will involve leading design coordination, ensuring quality control, and working closely with clients and other consultants throughout each project stage. Project Engineers are also accountable for finding ways to improve project management and production processes as code and industry standards evolve. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, time management expertise, and consistent communication.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for schedule, coordination with internal & external stakeholders & monitoring assigned projects
Attend project meetings (with client and/or consultant teams), take detailed notes and communicate tasks & objectives to the team
Communicate internal team needs with clients and other consultants and provide the necessary information to the internal team
Interact with clients to interpret their needs and communicate with the internal team / management as needed
Ensure schedule compliance by tracking progress on internal team tasks
Monitor the quality of project deliverables and schedule internal plan reviews
Provide close out support on assigned projects and document project debriefs
Provide construction support as needed for assigned projects
This role does not oversee any personnel but is key to ensuring coordination between internal & external teams in order to complete projects successfully.
Requirements:
3-5 Years of MEP experience, industrial and process piping strongly preferred
