A client-facing Aviation Project Manager to help expand and strengthen our presence in Raleigh and across North Carolina.
This is a key growth hire tied directly to expanding MJ’s footprint in the Southeast. We’re looking for a licensed North Carolina PE who brings both strong aviation project leadership and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
-Lead and manage multiple airport improvement projects from planning through construction
-Oversee airfield and landside design efforts (runways, taxiways, pavement, terminal and landside infrastructure)
-Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations
-Lead presentations and meetings with airport authorities, stakeholders, and contractors
-Mentor and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams
-Actively grow and maintain MJ’s aviation client base in the Southeast
-Participate in regional aviation organizations and industry events
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Licensed PE required, with additional state licenses preferred
- 8–12+ years of progressive aviation project experience
- Knowledge of and experience in the Southeast aviation market, including funding sources
- Working knowledge of design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
