We are seeking an experienced turf professional to assist in the development of a private, high-performance natural grass tennis court utilizing capillary flow irrigation technology in Palm Beach County, Florida.

This project is being executed for a nationally ranked senior tennis player and requires a high level of precision, discretion, and technical expertise in sports turf systems.

Scope includes collaboration on planning and installation of a capillary-based root zone system, subgrade preparation, drainage, turf selection, grow-in strategy, and performance conditioning of the playing surface. Ideal candidates will have experience with sand-based systems, subsurface irrigation, and maintaining elite-level turf conditions.

This is a contract-based role with potential for ongoing consulting or seasonal maintenance involvement 

• Experience in sports turf management, golf course maintenance, or high-performance grass surfaces
• Familiarity with subsurface or capillary irrigation systems
• Strong understanding of root zone composition, drainage, and turf establishment
• Experience in warm-season grasses (Bermuda preferred)
• Ability to operate independently and advise on best practices for installation and maintenance
• Professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on private residential projects

Preferred:

• Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent background
• Experience with USGA-style builds or specialty turf installations
• Prior exposure to grass tennis courts or elite athletic surfaces

Candidates without prior experience in high-performance turf systems or sports surface construction will not be considered.
