Parasol is seeking a skilled and hard-working Solar Revit Designer with 3-5 years of work experience to join our growing team to design and draft commercial solar canopy projects from schematic design through construction. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovative design projects and solutions and takes pride in the ownership of resolving technical and logical issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to Design Director to understand work goals, standards, and design process
Project design + construction documentation in Revit: produce all project drawings and documents as required to support proposal, progress, permit and construction drawing submittals
Interface with sales team as required to define project requirements
Interface with project management team as required to develop budgets and schedules
Support leadership at the project level
Interact with clients and third party consultants
Support the development of product designs and detailing to improve quality and performance
Coordinate with procurement teams to support accurate bidding and fabrication of project components
Coordinate with structural engineering consultants and fabrication vendors
Make occasional site visits to see project progress
QUALIFICATIONS
A professional architectural degree or equivalent
Min. 3-5 years of commercial architecture or similar design/build experience
Advanced knowledge and technical experience with Revit
Experience with construction drawing production and detailing in Revit
Experience supporting all aspects of design/build projects from proposal through construction
Experience with product development/implantation
Demonstrated skills interfacing with engineering teams to implement project and product designs
Experience reading proposals and participating in competitively bid contracts
Experience with project communication and documentation
Office, Excel and Adobe/Bluebeam proficiency required
