Due to an anticipated retirement, Cass County Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Design Project Manager position in Kindred.
This role is responsible for performing field measurements, staking, and coordinating easements to advance construction and installation projects. You’ll work closely with Cooperative line crews, area contractors, and electricians. You will be responsible for providing engineering and operational support by collecting and analyzing data required to design, construct, and maintain a safe, reliable, and cost-effective electric utility system.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or a related field plus five or more years of electric utility experience is required.
Relevant and progressively responsible experience may substitute for a portion of the educational requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to understand and apply electric utility terminology, specifications, and codes
Self-motivated and able to organize multiple tasks
