The Heart Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our physician-owned private practice in Central California. This is a high-volume, procedure-driven EP opportunity offering full clinical autonomy, dedicated lab access, and a defined path to partnership with uncapped earning potential—without hospital employment or administrative oversight.

Opportunity Highlights
High-volume EP program: ~400+ ablations and ~200+ device implants annually
Dedicated lab access: 2 full EP lab days per week to start, expandable with growth

Hybrid OR access, full anesthesia support, and add-on procedural flexibility
Outpatient & Inpatient Practice
EP clinic: ~3 half-days per week, adjustable with growth
Procedural schedule begins with 2 full EP lab days per week, expandable with volume
Immediate outpatient volume from the consult pipeline and internal referrals
EP inpatient role concentrated during EP call weeks:
~2–3 consults per day
Focus on urgent EP evaluation and procedural decision-making
No longitudinal inpatient follow-up required
Collaborative patient-sharing model supporting immediate volume and long-term growth
Compensation & Benefits
Years 1–2: $700,000 guaranteed salary
Year 3+: Productivity-based model aligned with individual clinical production
Based on recently transitioned physicians, total compensation has consistently exceeded the guaranteed base by a significant margin
Compensation is uncapped and scales directly with production
$25,000 signing bonus and relocation support

Call Structure
Group provides continuous 365-day ED and inpatient cardiology coverage
Combined ED and general cardiology call:
Weekday: ~1 day per week
Weekend: ~1 in 6 weekends
ED call supported by Internal Medicine residents and hospital NPs, who perform initial evaluations and staff patients with the on-call cardiologist
Interventional cardiology provides STEMI backup and manages emergent procedures, including overnight temporary pacemaker placement when clinically indicated
EP call is a separate, stand-alone weekly rotation (~2 weeks per month)
EP functions as a second-line, consultative specialist:
~2–3 consults per day during call weeks
No inpatient follow-up responsibility
Low overnight and weekend burden, with most EP-related care deferred to daytime and weekdays
