Support all aspects of billing, accurate rate information, and efficient resolution of CIS software issues. Properly account for all material transactions necessary to construct and maintain electric lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Balances daily Online Bill Interface (OBI) and other electronic payments (web, mobile, IVR, EFT, etc.); posts OBI payments to accounts and reviews posted payments for accuracy, errors, or discrepancies.
Posts daily totals from deposit envelopes to general ledger spreadsheet.
Serves as back-up for CIS/Billing Administrator to include balancing daily recap, balancing month-end with the general ledger, and by working as relief for scheduling cycle billings, delinquents, and cut-offs.
Assists CIS/Billing Administrator with all aspects of Year-End processes.
Works with CIS/Billing Administrator to process inactive refunds.
Works with CIS/Billing Administrator checking prebill and correcting errors.
Serves as back-up creating service orders for Fort Knox.
Serves as back-up to pull readings for Fort Knox.
Works with CIS/Billing Administrator to upload solar files and verify accuracy.
Ensures credit/debit card payments from all sources match Funding Report from NISC gateway.
Creates/modifies customer reports for all aspects of Nolin RECC operations.
Calculates Fuel Adjustment Charge monthly; verifies accuracy with CIS/Billing Administrator.
Maintains spreadsheets for PSC filing/Rate Studies/etc.
Works with CIS/Billing Administrator to enter billing adjustments as needed.
Creates graphics, bill print messages, and SmartHub messenger alerts.
Updates/tests/verifies billing changes with CIS/Billing Administrator.
Maintains annual billing calendar.
Audits timesheets, staking sheets, and material maintenance list daily to ensure accuracy.
Data entry of all material receipt/charge/salvage/junk to appropriate job or activity.
Assists with annual inventory of all materials.
Maintains service records for fleet maintenance.
Follows all rules and regulations regarding Nolin RECC’s PCI policy.
Works according to Nolin RECC safety and driving guidelines, is responsible for own safety and reports all accidents immediately.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma and five years office environment experience.
KNOWLEDGE
Develops and maintains a complete understanding of Nolin RECC purchasing and inventory procedures.
Develops and maintains an understanding of the internal computer system.
Maintains familiarity with Nolin RECC Bylaws, membership procedures and forms.
Understands departmental relationships and functions and workflow between areas and departments.
Understands Nolin RECC safety guidelines.
