| Job Description Reporting to the Assistant Director of Capital Planning & Construction, the Project Inspector / Clerk of the Works is Radford University’s primary representative onsite. The position provides daily inspections for quality assurance of Capital and Non-Capital construction projects. Responsibilities include daily reports on project status, coordination with contractors for quality control/quality assurance, and coordination with other third-party inspectors. The position will be assigned to multiple simultaneous construction projects and will ensure projects follow permitted plans & specifications. Projects may be at any Radford University campus. The position will monitor projects for general compliance with Radford University’s design and construction standards, policies, and procedures for quality assurance and control. |
