Studio Grey is a boutique architecture and interior design firm specializing in hospitality-driven commercial environments including restaurants, boutique hotels, mixed-use developments, and experiential workplaces.

We are seeking a Project Architect / Project Coordinator with 6–10+ years of experience to support projects from concept through construction. This role combines design leadership, technical documentation, consultant coordination, construction administration, and project management responsibilities. This is a Design + Project Management role.

In a small studio environment, team members contribute across multiple phases of work. This position will include a mix of design production, technical coordination, and project management depending on project scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership on concept and design development
• Produce and coordinate architectural drawing sets (SD, DD, CD)
• Manage coordination with consultants including MEP, structural, civil, and specialty vendors
• Support or lead project management duties: schedules, budgets, client communication
• Attend and lead OAC meetings
• Oversee Construction Administration services: RFIs, submittals, site visits, field reports
• Maintain quality control and design intent throughout project execution
• Work closely with interior design team to ensure integrated architectural and interior solutions

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years professional architectural experience
• Licensure is not required but is a plus
• Hospitality, ground-up, or commercial project experience required
• Demonstrated design capability
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience coordinating consultants and contractors
• Revit proficiency required
